'Pearls of Wisdom' followes the story of Mrs Pearl Benisch who survived Plaszow, Tarnow, Auschwitz-Birkenau, and the infamous Nazi death marches to Bergen-Belsen. It is a film of faith and humanity; of courage and survival against the odds.
The film features Rabbi Berel Wein, Rabi Aubrey Hersh, Rebbetzen Esther Farbstein, Rabbi Naftali Schiff, and Mr Tzvi Sperber, as well as members of her own family.
Today Mrs Benisch is triumphantly rebuilding a resplendent Jewish family in New York and is the last living student of Sarah Schenrer, the legendary founder of the Beis Yaakov educational institutions. She is the author of acclaimed books 'To Vanquish the Dragon' and 'Carry Me in your Heart' and has travelled the world imparting her personal wisdwom and passing on her inspiring legacy.
