Issue 19

Perspectives' 19th edition comes following the harrowing events of October 7th, 2023 and the thick of the ensuing war.

During these trying times, we have curated this magazine keeping our theme, "Light in the Darkness" at the forefront of our minds, highlighting our rediscovered unity, acts of selflessness and kindness, and exploring how to maintain both through and beyond our victory. The release of this edition coincides with JRoots' 18th anniversary, signifying "Life" - and Tu B'Shevat (the Jewish New Year for Trees), àpropos in its rich symbolism of destruction paving the way to rebirth, and ultimately, redemption.
