Rabbi Yekusiel Cohen, nicknamed “Cookie” by his (twelve!) siblings, was born and bred in Toronto, Canada. He earned his Rabbinic Semicha from the prestigious Jerusalem Kollel and joins the Aish Young Professionals team as a Rabbi and Educator.
Wherever he goes he brings his enthusiasm, authenticity, and warmth. He’s an innovative thinker, and loves problem solving and undertaking new projects.
He’s fun, easy going, and always up for a good tennis match.
Rabbi Cookie moved to North West London with his wife, and fellow Aish Educator, Shana, and their two little girls. When he’s not keeping up with his kids’ antics, he enjoys experimenting with gourmet food in the kitchen, strumming the guitar, or reading from his ever-growing collection of great Jewish books.
