Born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland (and yes, she skis), Aliza moved to Israel after graduating high school, where she spent a year in seminary before attending Michlalah Jerusalem, earning a B.Ed. in Tanach and English. She then continued to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completing an M.A. in History. She is also a graduate of the Eshkolot Fellowship in Advanced Tanach Education. Aliza spent the past ten years in Israel teaching in seminaries and working one-on-one with students. Passionate about Jewish education, she has taught classes and led chaburot on Tanach, tefillah, and hashkafa for students from a wide variety of backgrounds. Aliza has recently relocated to London with her husband and their (very cute) baby, and is excited to take on her new role working with young professionals at Aish UK, as well as teaching across the wider JFT family.
