Freshers Poland

During Covid, there were so many restrictions and changes to our normal lives. One of these changes was the inability of so many to experience a critical journey to Poland. Thus, we have partnered with JRoots to offer an experience that will confront the past and celebrate the future as we journey through Poland.

"Live. Explore. Immerse. Learn. Experience."

We will be visiting Warsaw, Majdanek, Lancut, Liszensk, Krakow, Plaszow, and Aushwitz amongst other important sites across the 5 days that we spend together. Prices: Early Bird: £375 (for sign-ups and deposit paid before October 1st 2021 – limited to first 50 applicants)

FAQ's:

Are flights included?

Yes.

What is the accommodation?

We will be staying in Hotels with at least a 3-star standard. You will be asked to share a preference for who to share a room with.

What is the catering arrangement?

We will be providing full kosher catering throughout the trip. We will also be providing catering options for vegetarian, vegan and GF preferences.

Is this a depressing trip?

Absolutely not. Many who have joined us on our trips in the past have stated that this is a life-affirming celebration of life. The theme of the trip is “Confronting the past, and celebrating the future”.

I would love to join this trip but cannot afford it?

We at Aish would never like the cost to be a reason why someone would choose not to join us. Please reach out to: campus@aish.org.uk to request additional financial support which can be given depending on circumstances.

Do I need to be vaccinated to travel?

Yes. Due to travel restrictions, we can only accept vaccinated applications.

Will I need to test before traveling?

We will continue to monitor the travel guidelines and will be informing all applicants of what is required before, during, and after the trip.

What happens if I catch Covid on the trip?

We will be applying whatever the relevant guidelines require in relation to quarantining. It is understood that by travelling at this time there is an element of risk involved. Quarantine requirements are the responsibility of the participant. Aish UK does not take responsibility to cover the additional costs involved in making such arrangements.
